THE SOLUTION

This interactive lab uses creative exploration, and strategic tools to help them design work that fits who they are not who they’re supposed to be.

In Person

The traditional 9–5 was never designed to support how many people actually think, feel, or move through the world. For creative, neurodivergent, and independent thinkers, “standard work” often feels quietly and persistently misaligned.

That misalignment pushes many people toward entrepreneurship as an alternative.

But owning a business doesn’t automatically solve the problem. It simply introduces a new system. One that still has to fit how you function.

This lab isn’t here to convince you to start a business. And it’s not here to push growth for growth’s sake.

It’s here to give you space to think about your thinking. To slow down, observe your patterns, and decide whether working on your terms is possible, sustainable, and worth building.

You’ll explore how your capacity, energy, values, and decision-making habits shape what “success” can realistically look like for you.

This is a pause point and a chance to reassess. Join a safe space to build from truth instead of obligation.

What Makes This Lab Different

Most business workshops focus on tactics: what to do next, what to sell, and how to scale.

This lab focuses on how you decide. Metacognition is the act of thinking about how you think. It helps make invisible patterns visible:

  • Why certain paths drain you while others energize you
  • Where pressure distorts your decision-making
  • How your creative habits mirror your leadership and business behavior

By understanding how you operate, you gain clarity on what structures will actually support you long term.

What We’ll Do

Through a blend of creative exploration, reflective prompts, hands-on exercises, and guided strategic thinking, you’ll examine:

  • What you’re actually carrying (mentally, emotionally, and practically)
  • What you want your work to support in your life
  • How your capacity, energy patterns, and values shape your business model
  • What structures protect your mental health and long-term sustainability

You’ll leave with clearer language, grounded options, and relief from the fog that pressure creates. This lab directly supports foundational elements of a business plan or Lean Startup framework, including:

  • Identity and role clarity
  • Unique Value Proposition
  • Business description
  • Problem/solution alignment
  • Milestone and direction setting

Who This Lab Is For

This lab is designed for anyone navigating the tension between opportunity and capacity. Between the push to grow and the need to protect their energy and well-being.

That may include:

  • Early-stage entrepreneurs
  • Service-based business owners
  • Solopreneurs
  • Creatives and neurodivergent thinkers
  • Anyone asking, “Is there a better way to work?”

You don’t need a polished idea and you don’t need a five-year plan. But we do ask that you bring your curiosity and a willingness to explore what actually fits you.

Agenda
